The construction industry is expanding with every passing day. In fact, the demand in this sector will definitely increase with further development of the country as the need for a better infrastructure arises. Thus, as a country becomes more developed, it is likely to see more construction work happening in its various towns and cities. Generally speaking, construction can be classified into three broad categories – building construction, civil or heavy construction and industrial construction.
Regardless of the type of work that is being undertaken, all construction projects are managed by a project manager and supervised by the on site construction manager in coordination with the construction engineer or the project architect and the design engineer. As construction is a highly capital intensive process, more often than not, contraction companies get their projects funded by banks and other financial institutions. Beginning from huts constructed by hands to sky scrappers built in a matter of months, the construction industry has got completely revolutionized in the last few years.
