Repairing squeaking stairs

Squeaking stairs are often irritating and at times even very unsafe and tend to give rise to accident on the stairs. It is important that as soon as a squeak in the stairs is noticed, it should be fixed as soon as possible. There are many methods in which anyone can fix squeaking stairs. These methods are different for different materials and designs of stairs. Due to excessive and long periods of use the stairs may get worn out and start to making a squeaky noise as the planks may have become loose.
Stairs that have wooden planks attached tend to become squeaky faster than any other kinds of stairs, this is because the wooden planks come loose and they start to move making the noise. To stop the squeaky noise and repair the stairs some extra nails should be driven into the plank, this will make the grip of the plank much stronger and help keep the plank in place and cut down the squeaking sound.
