In the construction industry underpinning is a technique that provides strength and stability to the foundation of any building. Lack of support could be quite dangerous if no preventive measures are taken. There are many benefits associated with underpinning .If the existing foundation is not strong or stable enough; underpinning technique will rectify all the problems.

The land price has increased .Therefore instead of investing on a new building it is quite cheaper to utilize underpinning method to improve the existing building.
